From Scabies Infested Skin to Healthy Beauty

Everybody likes my skin now. It is tan and tight. I used to have normal skin. Though it was not bad, I never heard anyone saying it was beautiful. And you are not going to believe why the change happened.

I recently got a severe form of scabies. And because I made one mistake after another while trying to cure the disease, it got completely out of control. Even after I had seen a doctor and applied the medicines I got from the doctor, it did not get better. In desperation, I went to the beach to have a sunburn.

Although I have been to the beach before, this was the first time in my life that I went to the beach to have a sunburn. I never thought I needed a suntan or a sunburn.

I had a severe sunburn and the scabies subsided.

It was not good to have a sunburn because it really hurt afterward, and my skin kept peeling off for weeks. However, I later found out having a little suntan every morning is good.

Also, at my doctor’s advise I stopped using soap in the showers. Now I am using VO5 shampoo to wash my body. I am not sure if there will be anything wrong with this. But I like it. So I am using it for now.

I never bothered to learn anything about skin care before. Now I know how important it is.

Another thing my doctor asked me to do is to shower in cool water. Initially, I was forced to accept that. Now I like it. It forces me to take deep breaths when I am taking a shower. Taking deep breaths is good for health.

I stopped using VO5 shampoo to wash my body after some time. Now I do not use anything to wash my body other than water. I have been doing this for almost two years and I do not even realize that I have made that lifetime transition. I mean before that I could not imagine not to use soap to wash my body.

There are many habits that we are brought up with and do not think that it is even possible to change. But if you realize how important it is to change it, you can change it.
